Come experience the island, the park, the land and the water, from an experimental and playful perspective.
Arrive at Ruckle Provincial Park Campground @ 1:30 p.m. for a Meeting the Forest walk (45 minutes), and Experiment Two (1 hour and 30 minutes),
Meeting the Forest Walk led by Bri Strong, Mar’ce Merrell and Andrea Wilson
Experiments Two (Seeing with Quiet Eyes) designed by Bri Strong and Mar’ce Merrell in collaboration with the water, the trees, the rocks, the soil, the mycelium and the people who are all gathered together. You’ll listen to the world unfolding. You’ll create. You’ll play. You’ll listen. You’ll create. You might share, it’s up to you. All tools and materials are supplied. Your creative response can include visual art, writing, sound making, movement, storytelling or whatever else you bring to the experiment. You’ll be supported by all of our facilitators!
This experience includes the pre-gathering experiment, reading list, and an optional one-on-one meeting with Mar’ce Merrell to get to know you and your specific curiosities about creating. We specialize in: How to Get Unstuck and How to Connect More Deeply.
We are having a bagged lunch at 12:30 p.m. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and join us.
Thank you for your curiosity. If you’d like more information before registering, contact marcemerrell@gmail.com or schedule a 20 minute conversation on the website.
